About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at
Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.

My research is on classical German philosophy, particularly Kant and K.L. Reinhold – and has been awarded the Fichte-Preis of the Internationale Johann Gottlieb Fichte-Gesellschaft e.V. and the Wilfrid Sellars Prize of the North American Kant Society.

 I teach courses in ethics and the history of philosophy.
