I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. Before coming to Halle, I held research fellowships at Brown University and Université de Fribourg.

I am interested in topics at the intersection of metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics in 18th-century German thought. My research has been awarded the Fichte-Preis (Internationale Johann Gottlieb Fichte-Gesellschaft e.V.) and the Wilfrid Sellars Prize (North American Kant Society), and been published in journals such as the British Journal for the History of Philosophy and Kantian Review. I currently serve as co-editor of The Cambridge Reinhold Translations, a multi-volume edition of the works of K.L. Reinhold, and as Vice-President of the Christian-Wolff-Gesellschaft für die Philosophie der Aufklärung e.V.
